In January 2025, the DJ Mensah Foundation was moved to action after receiving a distressing call from popular blogger Kobby Kyei. He reported a heartbreaking situation of students in a rural school still learning on bare floors in an empty classroom with no desks.

Touched by the plight of these young learners, the foundation immediately began planning a response. On May 14, 2025, a collaborative effort came to life as the DJ Mensah Foundation teamed up with Kobby Kyei and Avaani Design to provide custom-built desks for the students.

The initiative attracted support from several generous partners. Angel Publishing donated educational books to support literacy and learning. PerfumeBase extended a thoughtful gesture by gifting perfumes to all the teachers as a token of appreciation for their hard work. To bring smiles to the children, Papas Frozen Meat Market provided refreshments for the entire school community.

This act of kindness is one of many under the DJ Mensah Foundation’s mission to uplift underserved communities and drive meaningful change across Ghana. The foundation reaffirmed its commitment to making lasting impacts, especially in education and community support.

Their efforts serve as a powerful reminder that collective goodwill can turn empathy into impactful change.
