Criss Waddle Mocks Bawumia and Napo: “By Now Ghanaians Would Be Paying Pope Levy”

Ghanaian rapper and AMG Business CEO, Criss Waddle, has taken a satirical jab at Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and former Energy Minister Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (Napo), suggesting that if they had won the 2024 general elections, Ghanaians might now be burdened with a “Pope levy.”

In a recent social media post, Criss Waddle humorously claimed that under the leadership of Bawumia and Napo, citizens would be subjected to taxes unrelated to their daily lives, such as a levy associated with the Pope’s death. He implied that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration might have introduced such taxes, exacerbating the financial strain on ordinary Ghanaians.

This commentary aligns with Criss Waddle’s history of critiquing the NPP government, especially following the change in administration. His remarks have sparked discussions on social media.
