Renowned Ghanaian radio presenter and disc jockey, Andy Dosty, has addressed recent reports surrounding his reconciliation with dancehall artist Shatta Wale. A viral video showed Shatta Wale apologizing to Andy Dosty at Hon. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful’s 60th birthday concert in Dansoman, Accra.
During a recent broadcast on Hitz FM’s DayBreak Hitz, Andy Dosty clarified that he never had any issues with Shatta Wale. When asked about their reconciliation by co-host Kwame Dadzie, Andy emphasized that their relationship has always been cordial.
“We’ve always been cool,” Andy Dosty stated. “There was no bad blood between us.”
Andy Dosty also confirmed that he would continue playing Shatta Wale’s music and interviewing him on his show. In fact, he revealed that he’s been enjoying Shatta Wale’s latest album, ‘SAFA’, with “Accra” being his favorite track.
The reconciliation video, which showed Shatta Wale attempting to kiss Andy Dosty before being resisted and then hugged, sparked widespread attention. However, Andy Dosty’s comments dispel any notions of a lingering feud between the two.
By setting the record straight, Andy Dosty reinforces his professional stance and commitment to supporting Ghanaian artists, including Shatta Wale.
