Cristiano Ronaldo, the Manchester United striker, has reached yet another social media milestone, becoming the first person to reach 400 million Instagram followers.
The forward had 237 million followers in September 2021, making him the most followed guy on the platform, a quantity that has since increased enormously in a couple of months.
He has 3242 posts with an average of 10 million ‘likes’ each and just 500 follows.
With almost 308 million followers, reality sensation Kylie Jenner is second in the standings, followed by Lionel Messi with 306 million.
Piers Morgan, a well-known broadcaster, posted a photo of himself with the Manchester United striker on Twitter.
He said: ‘Congratulations on becoming the first human being ever to reach 400 million followers on Instagram. The undisputed social media goat, p.s he only follows 500 people, including me… he knows a good grammer when he sees one.’
