In the midst of an exhilarating surge in Guinness World Record endeavors, Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak hailing from Tamale is set to become the third Ghanaian to embark on a record-breaking challenge in a span of two months. Her ambitious goal: to establish a new world record for the longest cooking marathon.

The current record for the longest cooking marathon (individual) is held by Irish chef Alan Fisher, who achieved an impressive time of 119 hours and 57 minutes, surpassing the previous record set by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci. Undeterred by this formidable benchmark, Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak is gearing up to undertake this culinary challenge with the aim of surpassing Fisher’s remarkable record.
