Ghanaian music sensation Kuami Eugene has finally addressed concerns about sampling other artists’ songs, a criticism that has plagued him since the start of his career. In a recent interview, the former Lynx Entertainment signee vehemently denied stealing any artist’s song.

“I don’t ‘steal’ music,” Kuami Eugene emphasized. “Every artist takes influences from different places.” He cited legendary musician Michael Jackson and Nigerian artists who have faced similar backlash.

Kuami Eugene explained that drawing inspiration from others is a natural part of the creative process. “There’s nothing wrong with taking a line or two and modifying it to fit my style,” he stated confidently.

The singer feels unfairly targeted, noting that other artists often go unscathed despite similar practices. “I put a lot of effort into making my music original while drawing inspiration,” he said.

Throughout the discussion, Kuami Eugene stressed that music is a dynamic art form reliant on inspiration and collaboration. “At the end of the day, we’re all trying to create something beautiful that resonates with our audience,” he concluded.
