Atongo Zimba, renowned Ghanaian musician, has expressed frustration with the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO). In a 3Music TV interview, the ‘No Beer in Heaven’ hitmaker revealed he hasn’t received any royalties from GHAMRO since registering his music.

In stark contrast, Atongo praised the UK-based Performing Rights Society (PRS) for transparency, sending him quarterly earnings statements and documentation.

“I’ve not received a dime from GHAMRO, but PRS delivers my earnings with detailed statements every three months,” Atongo lamented, highlighting GHAMRO’s shortcomings in royalty distribution.
