Wizkid has assured his teeming fans in Ghana that he and his team will come up with a new show to satisfy his fans here which promises to be nothing short of amazing.

He issued the solemn pledge after he literally stood his fans up by refusing to come on stage when he realised ticket sales to the event was far below his expectation and could not fill even half of the Accra Sports Stadium, the venue of his Accra Concert.

In a previous reports, we mentioned that the much-touted Wizkid Live Concert in Accra ended in smoke literally after patrons stood for hours waiting for the headliner from Nigeria to come and give them their money’s worth but he was nowhere to be found.

Some attendees and bloggers who attended the event reported that the DJ and MC for the events were left to keep the crowd going for over two hours after local stars like Yaw Tog mounted the stage to perform.

Despite the long wait, Wizkid and the other headline musicians failed to turn up at the concert. Multiple sources online say a lot of people who purchased the tickets are requesting that the musician refunds their money to them.

The event was put together by the Finali Entertainment Group, the parent company of Live Hub Entertainment. They later apologised for the mishap by promising to refund all the monies to the disappointed fans.

Wizkid on the flipside apologised profusely saying what happened was not deliberate as Ghana is a country he holds dear to his heart. He then said he will make amends by coming up with a massive show just for his fans in Ghana.
