In a heartwarming display of compassion and responsibility, popular actor Kwadwo Nkansah LilWin has taken significant steps to support the family of 3-year-old Nana Yaw Ampomah, who tragically lost his life in a car accident involving LilWin’s vehicle.
As the court proceedings continue, LilWin has shown his commitment to making amends by fulfilling his promises to the grieving family. He has replaced the damaged Hyundai Santa Fe belonging to Nana Yaw’s father with a brand new one, providing much-needed comfort and support during this difficult time.
Furthermore, LilWin has generously provided the family with GH₵50,000 to cover funeral expenses and an additional GH₵45,000 to help with hospital bills. In a remarkable gesture, he has also pledged to support the surviving twins, Nana Yaw’s siblings, as part of his efforts to compensate the family.
LilWin’s lawyer, Nana Bonsu Kyeretwie, has stated that they are awaiting guidance from the Attorney General’s Office regarding the case. Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, LilWin’s actions demonstrate his dedication to taking responsibility for his actions and providing support to those affected.
The accident, which occurred on June 3, resulted in LilWin’s arrest by the Manhyia Divisional Police Command in Kumasi. He was later released on bail for GH₵50,000 with two sureties. As the trial continues, LilWin’s presence in court and his efforts to compensate the family demonstrate his commitment to accountability and compassion.
