On the Believers Morning Show on July 3, 2024, actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, expressed his shock and disappointment at the treatment he received after his recent accident, which resulted in the death of a 3-year-old child.
Lilwin stated that instead of receiving sympathy and support, he was criticized and blamed for the accident. He felt that the media portrayed the accident in a way that suggested he had intentionally caused it, and that Ghanaians were not showing him the same sympathy and support that they would offer to others in a similar situation.
Lilwin also expressed his disappointment that people were not pleading with the child’s family to forgive him, but instead were fanning the flames of the issue. He believed that some people were not happy that he survived the accident.
The actor felt that his life after the accident had been like a movie, and that he was being judged and criticized without people knowing the full story of what happened. He questioned why God had brought him to Ghana, where he was facing such criticism and hardship.
