MC Yaa Yeboah, a media personality, has sparked a heated debate on polygamy, arguing that men should be allowed to marry multiple women if they so choose and can financially support them. She emphasized that society’s double standards unfairly stigmatize men with multiple wives and the women who choose to be second wives.

MC Yaa Yeboah pointed out that powerful men often practice polygamy without facing criticism, while others are judged harshly. She questioned the notion that a woman can “steal” another’s husband, suggesting that such accusations lack evidence.

“If a married man doesn’t date another woman, how can he choose a second wife? Let’s not blame the second wife; instead, focus on the man’s choices,” MC Yaa Yeboah said.

She defended women who wish to become second wives, stating that they should be free to make their own choices, understanding the advantages and disadvantages. MC Yaa Yeboah also advised unhappy first wives to consider leaving the marriage if they’re uncomfortable with polygamy.
