The Robotics Team of Obuasi Senior High Technical School has been rewarded and appreciated by the Old Students Association of the school ‘Asikafuo’ led by Mr. Kofi Poku Nsiah (a.k.a.), Tornado who is the Deputy CEO of Atinka Fm and Television under Atinka Media Village.
Mr. Kofi Poku Nsiah, an old student of the school invited the team to the station.
The award ceremony was done in the school after they returned from Accra by Rev Amoako on behalf of Asikafoo where cash prizes were presented to them on behalf of the Old Students Association of the school.
The Robotics Team were interviewed on the station’s platform where they shared their experience as winners of this year’s Primetime’ Sci-Tech Innovation Challenge and the UNDP Waste Energy Challenge.
The lead Teacher of the Robotics Team of the school, Mr. Nchor received one thousand Cedis (1,000Gh) while the Team received two thousand two hundred Ghana Cedis (2,200Gh).
The Robotics Team of Obuasi Senior High Technical has been phenomenal this year chalking various glories and successes for the school.
The old students association of the school has been very supportive to them and continue to spur them on to do more.
Earlier on, an student based in Europe had presented some robotic items to the school to help the Team to do more.
