Ghanaian socialite, mental health advocate, and media personality, Abena Korkor has disagreed with the claims that rapper Sarkodie has lost his prowess as an artist.
There have been claims on social media that the seasoned rapper Sarkodie is gradually losing his prowess and has lost his taste. However, mental health advocate Abena Korkor has a different opinion about him.
Speaking to Ghanaweb during the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards night held at Grand Arena, Anea Korkor who attended the show to throw her support behind the rapper to win the Artist of the Year and other categories said that Sarkodie is one of the great rappers Ghana has ever had and deserves some accolades.
When asked if Sarkodie has lost his vibrancy in the music game, she responded, “No”.
“They say ‘the wine tastes better with age. He’s refined wine, refined cigar, he’s just getting better and tasting better so what are you guys talking about”?
On the other hand, Sarkodie won the Best Hiplife/Hip-pop artist of the year award but lost the Artist of the year to Kidi.
