Ghanaian musician DJ Azonto, now known as Ice Boss, has made a passionate plea to National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama to recognize his contributions to the country’s music industry and peaceful atmosphere.

In an exclusive interview, Ice Boss expressed his desire for national recognition, citing his hit song “Fa No Fom” as a catalyst for global attention and peaceful gatherings in Ghana. He believes his efforts have promoted unity and joy among citizens, particularly during weddings and parties where his song is frequently played.

The artiste urged Mahama, if elected as President, to acknowledge his impact on Ghanaian culture and society. Ice Boss proposed that he and his family be honored to replace the legendary “Big Six”. a

“I have done a lot for this country through my music,” Ice Boss stated. “My song ‘Fa No Fom’ has gone global, putting Ghana on the map. It’s played at weddings, parties, and other events, bringing people together and promoting peacefulness. I believe I deserve national recognition for my contributions.”

Ice Boss promised to create a special song for Mahama if his request is granted. He emphasized that this recognition would not only be an honor for him but also for his family, who have supported his music career.

While some may view Ice Boss’s request as unconventional, he argues that his influence on Ghanaian society is undeniable.
