Hiplife grandpapa Reggie Rockstone has tasked artists in Ghana young and old to improve their lyrical dexterity before getting the chance to feature rapper Sarkodie.
Speaking on his 2019 joint song with the rapper 11:11 he stated that he was full of joy knowing that he played a stalemate with the rapper.
He stated in an interview on YFM yesterday that he feels so proud of his performance on the song because, at his age, he did his thing despite Ghanaians not according it with all the prominence needed.
“When you go into the ring with Sarkodie you better sharpen your sword. That song is one of my greatest accomplishments because I survived it.
“At least nobody came to me telling me he killed me on my song, I did my own in my fifties and grey beard, I went in there and killed it,” he stated.
He stressed that he was born on the 11th of April and his daughter was born on the same day so the title 11:11 title was a spiritual combination of the numbers.
The Oseikrom President revealed that the 11:11 song was dedicated to American martial artist and actor Bruce Lee.
