Rapper Okyeame Kwame has said Black Sherif’s Kwaku The Traveller song is doing very well and breaking frontiers because of the English Language he integrated into the song which is not a common feature of Ghanaian songs.

His assertion is clearly evidenced in the fact that Sherif became a household name with his street anthems, First and Second Sermon songs but rose astronomically with the song Kwaku The Traveller.
Statistically, the song placed number 55 on Apple Music’s Top 100 songs globally and streamed a million times on Boomplay and Audiomack, and still making waves across other digital platforms which vastly hinges on the fact that he dished out his lyrics in English.

Okyeame Kwame also highlighted Black Sherif’s talent, especially his unique voice, emphasizing that been a great asset that had contributed to his quick rise.
“As an up-and-coming artiste, many people will always watch out for what he has but you can’t deny that Black Sheriff has a unique voice that sets him apart from many rappers,” he added.
