Ghanaian gospel singer Joyce Blessing has lauded King Paluta for his hit single, “Aseda”, which she believes is a genuine gospel song. In a recent interview, Joyce Blessing shared her thoughts on the controversy surrounding a Catholic priest who apologized for singing “Aseda” with his congregation during a church service.
According to Joyce Blessing, she has no issue with people listening to or singing “Aseda” because it carries a powerful message of gratitude and devotion. She argued that it’s hypocritical for some individuals to dismiss the song’s message simply because King Paluta is a secular artist.
“King Paluta’s ‘Aseda’ is a gospel song,” Joyce Blessing stated. “Everyone has their own mindset, but sometimes there’s too much hypocrisy. Every good gift comes from God. You can’t say King Paluta belongs to the devil just because he doesn’t perform gospel songs.”
Joyce Blessing revealed that she’s an avid listener of King Paluta’s music and finds his songs motivational. She believes that King Paluta deserves widespread support, as his music sheds light on his struggles to succeed in the Ghanaian music industry.
“I really listen to his songs, and if you listen to the story behind them, you’ll see that he’s gone through a lot in life, and God has finally elevated his status,” Joyce Blessing said. “We all have to support him.”
By speaking out in support of King Paluta’s “Aseda” song, Joyce Blessing is encouraging fans to look beyond genres and appreciate the message behind the music. Her endorsement is a testament to the power of music to inspire and uplift, regardless of the artist’s background or genre.
