SARKODIE GAVE ME MY FIRST CHANCE TO TRAVEL ABROAD – AKWABOAH 

Ghanaian vocalist Akwaboah has said if not regarding rapper Sarkodie, he wouldn’t have had the first opportunity to vacation abroad. According to him, their decision to join Sarkcess Songs opened many doors associated with opportunities unto him and something of them was the honor going out of the country.

In an unique interview with Kastle FM in Cape Coast, Akwaboah, who has a hit song “Obiaa” eulogized Sarkodie for taking your pet on a tour across European countries and the US.

“I required the exposure more after i was working with Sarkodie, and am hadn’t visited abroad just before. ”“Sarkodie was the first individual to take me on a trip overseas, taking me to the United states of america and the United Kingdom. ”Akwaboah joined up with the Sakcess Music Report Label owned by Sarkodiein 2016 after his profession as a musician was starting to burgeon.

His time along with Sarkodie and record content label saw the churning away from classic highlife tunes as well as the excellent work on the work of art album “Mary”.

Although Akwaboah failed to renew his agreement after three years with Sarkcess Music, he played an important role in helping Sarkodie compose and produce several tunes including ‘Mewu’.
