For every celebrity, your security is just as important as your name. This is even more so for music artistes and other entertainers who often operate within crowded environments.
If there was any doubt about the importance of personal security for music artistes, the events of the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) should clear that.
But even before the fracas between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale at the 2019 VGMAs in April 2019, one artiste who has always taken his security very seriously has been Sarkodie.
The award-winning rapper has always attended every show and other public event with his bodyguard present to ward off any immediate danger.
Even as far back as 2013, Sarkodie pulled out of the Ghana Music Awards Europe because organizers failed to facilitate the travel of his bodyguard and other crew members to London for the event.
Sarkodie has an able personal bodyguard in the person of Nicholas Darko (Sconzy).
While Black Nana is often seen with Sarkodie in the rapper’s public appearances, not much is known about him.
Kwamemotion.com gathers that Sconzy has been playing this role as head of Sarkodie’s personal security for about 10 years now.
From his photos, Sconzy comes across as a loyal, competent, and serious guy who is always focused on his duties, Sconzy is known to be the Assistant of Black Nana.
