South African rap musician Nasty C has disclosed that he is ready to collaborate with multiple award rapper Sarkodie.
In the early hours of yesterday, Nasty C came out to reveal the reason why he refused Sarkodie a collaboration of two songs for his album.
According to Nasty C, Sarkodie disrespected him. He said during a freestyle on Metro FM’s The Touch Down that he turned down two feature offers over the years because he had a grudge towards Sarkodie after their initial meeting.
Nasty C revealed that Sarkodie refused to shake his hand the first time they met, leaving him with resentment and pledging never to give him a verse if he grew into a man.
“See, when I first met Sarkodie, he wouldn’t shake my hand…
Cool, I’m not too proud to say I’m still a fan but I held a grudge and told myself to wait till I’m the man..” he rapped.
Nasty C however disclosed he wants a reconciliation and shared that he was hurt when Sarkodie disrespected him but he is ready to work with the rapper.
“You see, this is the best way I know how to get stuff out of my chest. I am just a disappointed kid. It’s nothing more or less. But now I am over that, and he got all my respect,” he said and signaled he is ready to work with Sarkodie now: “If he asks me to do a verse again, it will be my hardest one yet.”
