Apart from Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy & Sarkodie, no Ghanaian artist deserves more- Show promoter bares teeth 

In the words of a show promoter named Nana Rex, aside from heavyweights Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Sarkodie- no Ghanaian artist deserves to be paid more for events in the country.

Expanding his theory in a Twitter video, the young man said event organisers use their events to promote and sustain an artist’s relevance hence they should be reasonable with their prices.

He shared this controversial opinion while spitting venom at rapper and musician Lasmid for demanding high fees when he is a relative newcomer to the business.

Rex expressed his rage at the Friday Night crooner for not being reasonable with his fee demands despite only having two hit songs and maybe performing for less than 30 minutes when he puts on any show.

He claimed that except for Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie who are “expensive,” no musician should try to ask for more when event organizers by asking for their “pound of flesh” when asked to perform.
