“Dancehall King” Shatta Wale is still in high spirits as he celebrates the 13th birthday of his first child, Cherissa, today, July 1.
Cherissa, daughter to the “On God” hitmaker, turned a teenager today, and he cannot absolutely keep calm.
Earlier on today, he shared a sweet message on Facebook to mark her day while also promising her a Range Rover when she turns 16.
In a new post on Facebook, Shatta Wale has revealed that when Cherissa’s mom got pregnant, he was very broke at the time but his instincts told him to keep the baby.
“I Remember when your mother said she was pregnant
Shatta Wale further acknowledged the sacrifices Cherissa’s mum has made for him, and how they have been able to stay good friends.
”Until today I owe your mum and God will make me pay her back even though we went thru stress to get here. Now she is like a bestie to me She calls me king
She call me Daddy
I have forgiven her and she has done same too
Even tho we can’t be together we have found a way to make you a happy child,” he stated.
He continued; “Say thank you mummy everyday because you have a very sweet mum ,caring and respectful…Just wait for your special gift when you are 16yrs. I love you cherissa NHYIRA Wale .”
