In a recent interview, Ghanaian Musician with the stage name DJ Azonto, born as Mark Kwesi Arthur,showered praise on Shatta Wale, calling him a blessing to the music industry.
Following Shatta Wale’s electrifying performance at Akropong, which coincided with the Ridge Condos event in Kumasi, DJ Azonto shed light on the artist’s undeniable impact. Although Shatta Wale was absent from the Ridge Condos event, his presence was still deeply felt as the crowd enthusiastically jammed to his hit songs, leaving a lasting impression on DJ Azonto.
DJ Azonto expressed his admiration for Shatta Wale’s impact, saying “if you put all the artists in Ghana, Shatta Wale is second to none. Even though he was not at Ridge Condos, his music was still jamming at the event. I mean, this is someone a young artist should emulate because he is a blessing to the music industry.”
DJ Azonto also commended the massive turnout at Shatta Wale’s Akropong concert, stating “The turnout at Akropong concert was massive, and I am glad I supported the show, and I am very proud of him.”
In addition, DJ Azonto revealed that he showed his support for Shatta Wale by convoying with about 20 cars to the event. He emphasized the importance of supporting one another in the industry, saying “It’s about time we support one another when it comes to showing appearances; it drives the need for love for the industry to thrive and stop hating each other’s success.”
DJ Azonto’s heartfelt words highlight the significance of unity and support in the music industry, and his admiration for Shatta Wale’s contributions is a testament to the artist’s impact on the Ghanaian music scene.
