Renowned Ghanaian musician Ofori Amponsah has made a startling revelation about his life, sharing his spiritual gift of prophecy in a recent interview with Berla Mundi on the Day Show. The “Emmanuella” hitmaker disclosed that he possesses the ability to foresee future events, a talent that predates his music career.
“I’ve had this gift for a long time,” Ofori Amponsah confessed. “I can sit down and predict events that will happen years later.” He cited an example, “In the year 2020, I foresaw certain events unfolding, and I put those visions into my songs.”
Music, Ofori Amponsah explained, serves as his platform for sharing these prophetic visions. “I don’t have a church, so I use my music to express what I receive,” he said.
The highlife legend took a break from the music scene to focus on his faith, but clarified that it wasn’t a newfound commitment to Christianity. “I was already active in church, singing and preaching before I became Ofori Amponsah,” he shared.
Instead, Ofori Amponsah’s hiatus was a personal retreat to rediscover himself amidst challenges. “I was going wayward and needed to take a break,” he admitted. Reflecting on his journey, he acknowledged the benefits of his time away. “Now, I’m more successful than I was before – hundred times more.”
