“When discussing Ghana’s Reggae/Dancehall growth, Shatta Wale’s impact cannot be ignored,” Tilly acknowledged. “However, on the African stage, Stonebwoy has taken the reins as the most prominent force.”

Bullgod, a renowned artist manager, echoed Tilly’s sentiments. “Shatta Wale paved the way, but Stonebwoy’s current continental influence is undeniable.” He said.

“The people who no dey see Know, and those who can’t hear too known. You cannot take shatta wale out and what you see stonebwoy doing now, shatta wale has fought before shinning stonebwoy is up here” he concluded.
