Ayisha Modi, a very influential socialite in Ghana and a media consultant, has been at the center of a firestorm online after dragging Dr. Likee into her long time beef with dancehall artiste Stonebwoy. Ayisha Modi generated the controversy after she took to social media and claimed that she had financially backed some Ghanaian celebrities, among them Dr. Likee, in the past.
Ayisha, so it is claimed, had been called upon for help by Dr. Likee when he was not faring well with his career. Dr. Likee at the time was supposedly “half dead,” i.e., going through some serious life and career woes. Ayisha claims, she willingly provided financial support to Dr. Likee to cover the costs of his first comedy skit.
What is interesting about Ayisha’s revelation is that she did not stop at lending money. She also did not demand the money to be returned, effectively treating it as a gift rather than a loan. This act of goodwill, according to Ayisha, came about because she wished to see Dr. Likee succeed in the world of entertainment.
Ayisha’s decision to use Dr. Likee as part of the benefactors of her benevolence has caused much uproar online. Ayisha has been hailed for her good heart and openness to assist disadvantaged artists by some, but Ayisha has been castigated for involving Dr. Likee in her beef with Stonebwoy by others.
Regardless of what might have driven Ayisha, her revelation has surely sparked a lot of interest within the Ghanaian entertainment industry. There are now plenty of questions on fans’ minds about how wide-ranging Ayisha’s impact has been and how many artists she has impacted throughout the years.
As the battle continues to rage on social media, it’s sure that Ayisha Modi is not going to relent anytime soon. She has made it clear that she will continue speaking up and defending herself even if that means enlisting other celebrities as well.
The Ayisha Modi and Stonebwoy beef has been on for some time now, with both sides throwing jabs and insults at each other on social media. The introduction of Dr. Likee adds a new dimension to the situation, and it’s not clear how this will play out in the weeks and months to come.
One thing is for certain, though – Ayisha Modi is a force to be reckoned with in the Ghanaian entertainment industry. Her failure to back down and stick up for herself has earned her both praise and criticism, but it’s sure that she will continue to be an integral part of the industry for years to come. Whether you think she did the right thing or not, Ayisha Modi is definitely one woman who knows how to get noticed.
